Halloween 2008

I know we're a little behind the times but here are our pictures from Halloween. We went as Shrek and Fiona and man were we green! I think Ryan is still getting green out of his ears! Ryan looked great and everyone at work loved his costume even his extra "stuffing".

And I found this funny video of Ryan showing off his parenting skills. He'll be a great dad! Now if only he could breastfeed for me! Only 3 months until my baby is here!

Our Past Few Weeks

Three weeks ago we tried to go to the BodyWorlds exhibit in Salt Lake and we thought we'd be great citizens and use public transportation to get us down there. So we started our journey to Salt Lake at 2pm....and arrived at the library downtown at 4pm...2 hours!!!!!!! Anyway, because we were 4 minutes late for the exhibit they wouldn't let us in! I even ran to the library, which is hard for me now. Here are some pictures of our day. I was pissed, Ryan was happy, and the scenery that day was of the train station.

But don't you worry, last week we finally made it to the exhibit! We drove of course and Ryan's mother Linda came with us! The exhibit was cool, especially the fetus', it was awesome to be able to see how big our baby is, I highly recommend going to see BodyWorlds!!! We couldn't take pictures there so here are some pictures of afterwards when Linda took us to the Old Spaghetti Factory and Ryan's little sister's play that night, can you guess who she is???? She's Ursula from the Little Mermaid, it was a cute play!

Ryan's friend Joshua Dean got married a few weeks ago and we attended their reception at the 23rd floor in Salt Lake.

Top left clockwise: The happy couple, Aaron who just got his mission call to Ecuador, JD and Holly cutting the cake, and Ryan and JD being super happy!
Well that's about got us caught up. We had out last ultrasound yesterday and the baby is healthy and strong and kicking! We can't wait for it to get here!
And a special treat for my family in Minnesota...we spent conference weekend at the Quilters and I thought you'd get a kick out of how Grandpa Quilter can read the paper, listen to conference, and sleep all at the same time.
I'm sorry the camera is shaking a little but I couldn't stop laughing because every time that newspaper would start to droop that him falling asleep and then he'll wake himself up and pretend like he was reading the whole time. I hope you get a good laugh!

Baby Accessories

Because we've decided to hold off on finding out the sex of the baby until it's here we found these cute baby accessories that I think will go for both boy and girl. They have such a cute design that I think would fit a girl and they're blue if it's a boy.

We went and registered at Target the other day and Ryan could not stop scanning everything in sight! I don't think i'm going to take him with me anymore, he could care less about what we get the baby but more about how many items we can register for the baby.
And i'm sorry about the pictures, I haven't figured out how to make them into a collage so that they don't take up so much room on my blog!

Our New House

Here are a few pictures of Ryan and I's new house out in Sunset.

It's not too clean but I don't mind you seeing my house in it's natural state!

This is what my adorable husband looks like after his long days! Gotta love this man!

Our baby's first picture

I feel like as a mom I am the only one who can see anything in this picture so I've highlighted the basics of the baby. We are so excited for our baby to come!

The Great! The Sad! And The Accomplishment!

Well we're due for another post! It's been a few weeks and our lives have been oh so busy!

We found out that we were pregnant about a month ago and have been having a blast letting everyone know! I haven't been sick at all yet and i'm so very grateful for that but I still have had to deal with being super tired all of the time and a picky baby who won't eat anything I eat so hopefully it'll grow out of that!

We love you DelRay!
Ryan's dad passed away about 3 weeks ago so we've been busy trying to get the funeral ready and being with his family. As sad as the occasion was we were all in pretty good moods, I guess because we knew that Del was so much happier on the other side and because we knew he was there with us every day. We miss Del like crazy but we know that he is still here and we're excited that he's able to help bring out baby down in a little while. We'll never forget all the memories we have of him and especially family prayers at the Waite house! They will definitely be a tradition in our house!

We finnally were able to unpack all of our things in our new house in Sunset. The house still needs a lot of work, especially in the yard but we're slowly but surely moving along and finishing little tasks. We'll have to get some pictures up to dress up our blog a little bit.
